Intro to Aerial

Our intro class includes aerial silks for the first half of the session and lyra during the second half. You can see for yourself what everyone's talking about! It will definitely leave you wanting more.

Ready to begin your Aerial fitness journey? This is where you'll start! The first half of the class class gives you a preview and the essential techniques you need to feel confident in any of our aerial silks classes. Try both silks and lyra in just 50 minutes! You’ll start with a warm-up and strength training, then onto the aerial silks to learn the basic movements. We will then proceed to the lyra to learn hand grips and basic poses. By the end of the class, you will be prepared to join any of our beginner classes. And don't worry! We'll save a few minutes at the end of class for photos.

Aerial Yoga

Join us for the most unique yoga experience Fort Smith has to offer! Aerial Yoga is a modern style of yoga that incorporates a low-hanging soft fabric hammock to explore alignment, release chronic tension, hang around upside down, and have fun! It’s appropriate for anyone including beginners with no yoga experience. For experienced yogis, aerial yoga will add a new dimension to complement your existing practice on the ground. For those with little or no yoga experience, aerial yoga is a great place to start. Every class includes decompression, supported inversions, core and upper body strengthening, deep relaxation, and fun! This class is appropriate for anyone whether or not you have previous yoga experience.

In this Beginner level class you will learn Aerial Hoop basics such as mounting the hoop, posing, spinning and moving within it. Your certified Lyra instructor will guide you through learning how to safely enter and exit the apparatus, and teach you various beginner combinations. You will need to take Level 1 Aerial Hoop a minimum of 2 months prior to moving into Level 2 Aerial Hoop Class, a solid invert and have instructor approval.
